I think I need Blondstar or something. I successfully repaired my airplane but, DUH, connected my left aileron servo in the wrong channel rendering it non-functional. And to top it off it was a super windy day. So I only had the right side aileron working. I flew the whole flight wondering if it was [...]

Wow, I never had a mid air collision before. Fortunately it was with my foam PZ Extra 300 airplane and not my 700E heli. Now I can better appreciate one pilot flying at a time!! So I was on my 2nd battery of the day chill’n at the local park. I was about 25′ from [...]
How’s this for making an airplane ugly?! I kinda had to do it… as much as I hated to remove the wheel pants. And I added 2x size wheels for better rough grass terrain ability. I hope I don’t flip it as often. Flipping it over cause several prop damages and tail fin damages. Not [...]
I recently invested in two Model Guards. For any non-Spektrum radio this is a good idea since Spektrum is the only radio system with Model Match technology preventing you from accidentally flying your heli with your airplane model memory on your transmitter and crash. This little device will sound an alarm if you forget [...]
I put the airplane back together after its first crash with after $12 from a prop and glue. It is stronger now and actually flew a little better too! It still lands extremely well even in the wind.
Well the PZ Extra 300 airplane lasted 4 days until it crashed. I admit: I crashed it! Damage was minimal and all glueable. The glue of choice is Gorilla Glue (fast cure). The expanding properties is interesting, but I got in trouble by applying too much and it SURE expanded! I used an exacto razor [...]
Wow, I ordered the OrangeRX FASST receiver from Hobby King direct from Hong Kong China Sunday but actually shipped Wednesday, and it actually arrived Monday in my mailbox. And here’s the biggest shocker: it actually works! :) My Extra 300 is flying and I’m so happy with it.
I received my Extra300 and got it from the box to the air in about 2 hours. I temporarily stole the Futaba receiver from my helicopter, but can easily re-install it with velcro and connect the s.bus wire and I’m back to the heli again. My new Extra 300 flew like an absolute dream. Super smooth take [...]
Well… I can’t remember the last time I agonized over an RC item. This time was an airplane. After more than 4 weeks of slaving over website after website I finally decided the Park Zone Extra 300 PNP (party and play ) was the one for me. All it needs is a receiver and batteries. [...]
